Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Stav, a staff-management platform available at stavapp.com (the “Service”), operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME](“Stav”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account, joining a workspace, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Stav lets communities create workspaces to manage their staff — including sessions, activity tracking, applications, training, policies, documents, leave, payouts, notices, and related tools — and to connect a Discord server for notifications and commands. Features may change, be added, or be removed over time.

2. Eligibility and age

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country if higher, to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use the Service with the involvement of a parent or guardian. Workspace owners are responsible for ensuring their members are permitted to use the Service.

3. Accounts

You sign in using your Discord account. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your Discord credentials secure. You must provide accurate information and not impersonate others or use another person’s account without permission.

4. Workspaces and roles

A workspace is created and controlled by its owner. Owners and administrators can invite members, assign roles and permissions, manage content, and take staff actions (including warnings, role changes, termination, and blacklisting) within their workspace. If you join a workspace, you agree that its owners and administrators may manage your membership and view information associated with your participation, as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose;
  • upload or share content that is illegal, abusive, harassing, hateful, or infringing;
  • attempt to access data or workspaces you are not authorised to access;
  • probe, scan, disrupt, or overload the Service or its infrastructure;
  • reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the Service or its APIs except as expressly permitted; or
  • use the Service to violate the rules or terms of Discord, Roblox, or any other third-party platform.

6. Subscriptions and payment

Some features or plans may require a paid subscription. If you purchase a paid plan, you authorise us and our payment processor to charge the applicable fees on a recurring basis until cancelled. Fees are billed in advance and, except where required by law, are non-refundable. We may change pricing with reasonable notice. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. 7. Your content

You and your workspace retain ownership of the content you submit to the Service (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited licence to host, store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service. You are responsible for Your Content and for having the rights necessary to submit it.

8. Third-party platforms

Stav integrates with Discord and Roblox and may integrate with payment and other providers. Stav is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Discord or Roblox. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services, and their availability or changes may affect the Service.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or its users. Workspace owners may remove members from their workspaces. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; certain provisions (such as ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) survive.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stav and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or [AMOUNT, e.g. USD 50].

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Stav and its operators from claims, damages, and expenses arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice (for example, in-app or by updating the date above). Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing law
